Connect with a Ministry

Our Ministries

No matter your stage or season of life, we want you and your family to join us! Your family is always welcome here at HFC.

  • Adults

In addition to Sunday morning worship and Sunday School, Haviland Friends has several small groups to get connected with:

    Men's & Women's Ministries

We believe every person matters to God and to our church. We desire for each one who attends Haviland Friends to feel valued, loved, involved, equipped, and vital to the success of God's work here in our community. To accomplish this, you can jump into weekly prayer groups, attend and bring a friend to our accountability groups, attend upcoming retreats, game nights, camping and fishing trips, hang-outs, etc. To hear about what's going on contact our Men's Leader, Jeremie Frazier or our Women's Leader, Marlieta Davis.

    Friends Women

Friends Women is an outreach ministry of Haviland Friends Church. Ladies from the Haviland area meet monthly for fellowship and encouragement. We strive to raise awareness and support for local and global missions. We meet together on the 4th Monday of each month at 7:00 pm in the church basement. Women of all ages are welcome to attend. Contact Lisa Halverstadt with any questions.

Men’s Prayer Group- meets on Tuesday and Thursday mornings at 7:00 am in the church foyer.

Women’s Bible Study- meets on Tuesdays at 10:00 am in the church during the school year. Anyone can join at any time without feeling behind as we walk through the Bible.

  • Students

    Mid-Week Worship

Wednesday nights provide an opportunity to connect with adult leaders and other teenagers who are passionate about Jesus. At our weekly gathering, we desire to provide a place where students can experience life together through laughter, songs of praise and worship, small group discussion and hearing God's word.

    Jr High @ 6:00pm

    High School @ 7:45pm

    Group Life

Group life is designed to ensure that students can participate in a smaller community where they can be known and ministered to. These groups are focused on studying God’s Word together and discussing the issues and challenges of life together.

    Sunday Mornings:

Jr high meets at HFC @ 9:30am

Sr high meets at the Youth Room @ 9:30am

    Camps, Conferences, Retreats & Missions

Summer camps, seasonal retreats and conferences offer our students and staff a chance to get away from the distractions of everyday life in order to hear from God, to connect with others and to serve the Kingdom. This is is one of the greatest and most effective tools in cultivating spiritual growth in students.

    How can you become involved?

Just ask! We have many areas that need volunteers from weekly teachers to those who can share a talent with us on a special occasion. Children's ministry continues to grow!

  • Prayer

These are Jesus' words regarding His call to us to pray, ". . . I chose you and appointed you that you should go and bear fruit and that your fruit should abide . . . whatever you ask the Father in my name, He may give it to you . . . so that you will love one another."

    John 15:16-17

When we come together to worship and seek Him, He is there! The Bible is clear from cover to cover that we are all called to pray. Matt. 18:19,20 tells us that "if two of us agree about anything you ask for, it will be done for you by my Father in heaven. For where two or three come together in my name, there am I with them."

You don’t have to be a “professional pray-er”, "elder", "pastor", or lay leader to pray or come to any of our prayer gatherings. All you have to bring is your heart for God and His church. With hearts full of passion, let’s cry out together with honest, sincere, and real prayers. It’s all about Jesus. It’s not about a show, meeting or program. Prayer is about deep desire to see Jesus lifted high in our church, city and families; to bring Glory to God and see all men drawn unto Him!Over and over in the Bible there are examples of when God had it in His heart to bring about a great move. He would first call and enlist His people to prepare and pray! Let’s be the ones who answer that call, let your voice be heard! Let the Spirit of God gather us together for such a time as this to make history!

    Prayer Gatherings:

Tuesday and Thursday Morning Men's Prayer Group - 7:00 am in the foyer
